Childbirth can be challenging physically and emotionally. However, with the right support, comfort measures, and coping skills, it can also be positive and fulfilling. In this class, you’ll learn about the options available and how to choose the support that best suits your preferences.

Feel free to bring a partner or support person so they will feel more confident and prepared to provide support throughout the birth process.

Topics covered include:

  • birth hormones that provide comfort
  • non-medical comfort measures
  • medical comfort measures
  • coping skills for navigating intensity
  • how to create a peaceful birth environment
  • how to be a great birth partner or support person

Because each group of participants is unique and brings their own lived experience, the class is adaptable to your questions.
