Childbirth is a physically strenuous, emotionally vulnerable, and often long-lasting experience made more manageable and fulfilling with good support, comfort measures, and coping skills you can reach for in times of need. Learn about various tools and techniques to help you achieve a more satisfying experience.

Feel free to bring a partner or support person so they will feel more confident and prepared to provide support throughout the birth experience.

Topics covered include:

  • non-pharmacological comfort measures
  • pharmacological comfort measures
  • coping skills for navigating birth
  • how to be a great birth partner or support person

Because each group of participants is unique and brings their own lived experience, the class is adaptable to your questions.
