The first few weeks of parenthood are a unique time with many new experiences, challenges, and unknowns. Learn the essentials of caring for your newborn and yourself; and practical tools that support healing and promote a more peaceful and enjoyable postpartum time.

Feel free to bring your partner or support people so that they will be better prepared to navigate new parenthood and postpartum with you.

  • the first hour after birth
  • newborn medical procedures
  • feeding and caring for your newborn
  • newborn appearance, behaviour, and sleep
  • healing and adjustments for new parents
  • planning for postpartum

Because each group of participants is unique and brings their own lived experience, the class is adaptable to your questions.
