About the Lactation Café
Join this informal conversation that will focus on enhancing your lactation and infant feeding experience. Facilitated by Colleen Bunbury, a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, this virtual drop-in support group will seek to answer your questions, offer information and support your journey through infant feeding.  Participants may attend as many or as few sessions as they find helpful.  All pregnant and newly parenting families welcome.


Topics may include:

  • Preparing to breastfeed/chestfeed
  • Getting off to a good start
  • What is a good latch?
  • Addressing challenges
  • Balancing your milk supply
  • Harm reduction and infant feeding
  • Adding solid foods to their diet
  •  Extended breastfeeding/chestfeeding
  • Gentle weaning

These sessions will not be recorded for the confidentiality and privacy of the participants.  

About the facilitator
Colleen Bunbury, IBCLC is a Pregnancy Worker, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. She is passionate about supporting families with Infant feeding, birth and parenting and has been serving in this capacity for 15 years. When not engaged in this important work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including many pets, gardening, volunteering, and reading.


The Pregnancy HUB is a program hosted by the BCAPOP.
